About Us

A story of revelations and perseverance...

Our organization was founded in 1976 by Sir Richard Dressler and his five Professors Beverly Shine, Diane Lemoine, Mina Fischer, Linda Palazzo and Jewel Seaver. These six visionaries came together to achieve a calling felt throughout Las Piedras County: to show the world the healing powers of our planet's most important and unique feature, the sea! Through connecting with this primordial energy and preserving its beauty and diversity, we intend to show our community that no storm is too severe to weather.

Our Story

Our organization's journey started with Sir Dressler having to face his own tempest. After being cast aside by the academic elites, Sir Dressler found refuge in the burgeoning artist colony of Abismo. There, he finally saw through the mirages of modern life and found his new purpose: healing the lost through connecting with our planet like never before.

After meeting the five women that would co-found our organization, Sir Dressler began a grass-roots campaign to spread our message. The Co-Founders played a pivotal role in these early days, each using their unique expertise to spread not only Sir Dressler's message, but to raise greater awareness about the need to protect our vital yet delicate oceans.

After one rebranding and the untimely death of Professor Palazzo, these humble beginnings evolved into the organization residents of Las Piedras know and love. Though operations have been scaled down due to recent events, our numbers remain strong and we remain dedicated to spreading our message of mindfulness, connection, and inner healing.
